SUITES SHINE
IN NEW ARTISTIC SPLENDOUR
The new suites in Park Hyatt Zurich have been exclusively furnished by the renowned
American interior designer Janice Clausen. The effect of the charming creation
coupled with unique works from well-known artists is mesmerising.
The renovation and redesign of the Park suites in line with the
modern architecture of the 5-star hotel includes the creation of
new, luxuriously furnished suites as well as a completely newly
furnished interior. The stunning, new-look suites exude a harmonious
atmosphere and offer a maximum level of comfort.
The exquisite furniture in the newly opened suites is elegant,
comtemporary and European. The furnishings, upholstered in
velvet and plush fabrics, create an aura of luxurious individuality.
The varying bronze, cream and green shades complement
the warmth of the walnut floors and the hand-woven woolen
blankets. The meticulously finished leather and rear-laquered
glass, which are integrated into the woodwork, create soft tones
and reflect light. Applied in a modern fashion, they also lend a
touch of traditional Swiss leather to the overall appearance.
Sophisticated lighting provides warmth and a touch of sparkle, with
silk shades and soft metals. The extended bedroom design, combined
with elegant details, ensures an unforgettable hotel stay.
New works of art from four exceptional artists have been integrated
into the suites. Four pictures from the French artist, Tatjana
Labossiere, are exhibited in the suites. These hang above
the cosy sofa. The pictures from the artist, who recieved second
place in the „Prix de Sculpture – Marnes-la Coquette“ in 2008
and was exhibited at the Biennale 2013, were inspired by the
art of sculpture and display diverse etching techniques, which
interlink the themes of colour and form.
Three works of art from the German photographer Manuela
Höfer are exhibited in the suites above the sofas. Höfer, who
studied in Prague, has already exhibited solo in different European
countries on a number of occassions. All of her photographs
have a unique style and atmosphere, visual proof of
almost twenty years of experimentation.
The mural „Flechten“ by the Swiss artist Betty Kuhn is on display.
The exclusive painting is a work in acrylic on canvas, which was
inspired by the forms, structures and surfaces of a stone plate
in Tessin, which has reconnected to nature.
These new exhibition pieces, in conjunction with the art installation
„Network“ by Martina Vontobel, supplement the existing
original works of art in Park Hyatt Zurich.
