8.6 MAP_PROCESS_CALL_WAITING service<br />

8.6.1 Definition<br />

This service is used between the VLR and MSC. It is invoked by the VLR to request the MSC to invoke the<br />

Call Waiting service.<br />

This is a confirmed service using the primitives described in table 8.6/1.<br />

See subclause 5.6 for a definition of the parameters used, in addition to the following:<br />

MSISDN<br />

This is the connected called line identification.<br />

No Reply Condition Time<br />

This is the No Reply Condition Timer value. The presence of this parameter indicates whether or not the<br />

service Call Forwarding on No Reply is active.<br />

SS-Data List<br />

This is a list of SS-Data and will only be passed if the information is available (i.e. for <strong>GSM</strong> Phase 2<br />

supplementary services such as number presentation services and Advice of Charge).<br />

CUG Index<br />

This parameter will only be present if the received CUG information in the incoming call setup request from<br />

the MSC. It is the result of the translation by the VLR, of the CUG Interlock code.<br />

<strong>GSM</strong> Bearer Capability<br />

This is the Bearer Capability received by the VLR in the MAP-PROVIDE-ROAMING-NUMBER service. It<br />

will only be present if the information is available.
