This parameter refers to guidance information given to a subscriber who is requested to provide a<br />

password. One of the following information may be given:<br />

- "enter password";<br />

This information is used for checking of the old password.<br />

- "enter new password";<br />

This information is used during password registration for the request of the first new password.<br />

- "enter new password again";<br />

This information is used during password registration for the request of the new password again for<br />

verification.<br />

5.6.4.23 [Spare]<br />

5.6.4.24 SS-Info<br />

This parameter refers to all the information related to a supplementary service and is a choice between:<br />

- forwarding information (see subclause 5.6.4.15);<br />

- call barring information (see subclause 5.6.4.18);<br />

- CUG info (see subclause 5.6.4.8);<br />

- SS-Data (see subclause 5.6.4.3).<br />

5.6.4.25-5.6.4.35 [Spare]<br />

5.6.4.36 USSD Data Coding Scheme<br />

This parameter contains the information of the alphabet and the language used for the unstructured<br />

information in an Unstructured Supplementary Service Data operation. The coding of this parameter is<br />

according to the Cell Broadcast Data Coding Scheme as specified in TS <strong>GSM</strong> 03.38.<br />

5.6.4.37 USSD String<br />

This parameter contains a string of unstructured information in an Unstructured Supplementary Service<br />

Data operation. The string is sent either by the mobile user or the network. The contents of a string sent<br />

by the mobile station are interpreted by the network as specified in TS <strong>GSM</strong> 02.90.<br />

This parameter refers to a call reference allocated by a call control MSC.<br />

5.6.6 Radio parameters<br />

5.6.6.7 HO-Number Not Required<br />

This parameter indicates that no handover number allocation is necessary.
