C.4.7 Password<br />

In MAP version 1 the type Password was a choice between a printable string of length 4 to 8 octets or a<br />

numeric string of length 4 octets. It is now a numeric string of length 4 octets. The type Password is used<br />

for the result of the operation GetPassword.<br />

C.4.8 RequestParameter<br />

The enumerated type RequestParameter is no longer allowed to take the value requestCUG-Info. It is<br />

used as a component of the type RequestParameterList.<br />

C.4.9 RequestParameterList<br />

The type RequestParameterList is a sequence of components of type RequestParameter. The parameter<br />

of the operation SendParameters is a sequence of which one component is of type RequestParameterList.<br />

C.4.10 SentParameter<br />

The type SentParameter is a choice of which one component is of type SubscriberData. It is used as a<br />

component of the type SentParameterList.<br />

C.4.11 SentParameterList<br />

The type SentParameterList is a sequence whose components are of type SentParameter. The maximum<br />

number of components in the sequence has been reduced from 10 to 6.<br />

The type SentParameterList is used for the result of the operation SendParameters.<br />

The type SS-Data is a sequence of which one component is of type SS-SubscriptionOption. It is used for a<br />

DeactivateSS, and for components of the type SS-InfoList.<br />

The type SS-InfoList is a sequence of components of type SS-Info. It is used for a component of the type<br />

SubscriberData.<br />

C.4.15 SS-SubscriptionOption<br />

The type SS-SubscriptionOption was a choice from five components: perCallBasis (used for the CLIR<br />

supplementary service); notificationToHeldRetrievedParty (used for the Call Transfer supplementary<br />

service); userToUserServiceIndicator (used for the User to User Signalling supplementary service);<br />

maximumConfereesNumber (used for the Conference Calling supplementary service); and<br />

huntGroupAccessSelectionOrder (used for the Mobile Access Hunting supplementary service. It has been<br />

replaced by a choice from two components: cliRestrictionOption (used for the CLIR supplementary<br />

service); and overrideCategory (used for the CLIP and COLP supplementary services).
