5.3.5 MAP-P-ABORT service
This service enables the MAP service-provider to abort a MAP dialogue. The service is a provider-initiated
service with service-primitive as shown in table 5.3/8.

This parameter indicates the reason for aborting the MAP dialogue:
- provider malfunction;
- supporting dialogue/transaction released;
- resource limitation;
- maintenance activity;
- version incompatibility;
- abnormal MAP dialogue.
Source:
This parameter indicates the source of the abort. For Transaction Capabilities (TC) applications the
parameter may take the following values:
- MAP problem;
- TC problem;
- network service problem.
