5.3.5 MAP-P-ABORT service<br />

This service enables the MAP service-provider to abort a MAP dialogue. The service is a provider-initiated<br />

service with service-primitive as shown in table 5.3/8.<br />

This parameter indicates the reason for aborting the MAP dialogue:<br />

- provider malfunction;<br />

- supporting dialogue/transaction released;<br />

- resource limitation;<br />

- maintenance activity;<br />

- version incompatibility;<br />

- abnormal MAP dialogue.<br />

Source:<br />

This parameter indicates the source of the abort. For Transaction Capabilities (TC) applications the<br />

parameter may take the following values:<br />

- MAP problem;<br />

- TC problem;<br />

- network service problem.<br />
