If the cancellation fails, an error cause is to be returned by the VLR. The following error cause defined in<br />

subclause 5.6.1 shall be used:<br />

- unexpected data value.<br />

6.1.4 MAP_SEND_IDENTIFICATION service<br />

6.1.4.1 Definition<br />

The MAP_SEND_IDENTIFICATION service is used between a VLR and a previous VLR to retrieve IMSI<br />

and authentication sets for a subscriber registering afresh in that VLR.<br />

The MAP_SEND_IDENTIFICATION service is a confirmed service using the service primitives defined in<br />

table 6.1/4.<br />
