This service is used between MSC and VLR (B-interface) to request a handover number.<br />

The MAP_ALLOCATE_HANDOVER_NUMBER service is a confirmed service using the primitives from<br />

table 6.4/6.<br />

6.4.7 MAP_SEND_HANDOVER_REPORT service<br />

6.4.7.1 Definition<br />

This service is used between VLR and MSC-B (B-interface) to transfer the handover number to be<br />

forwarded to and used by MSC-A.<br />

The MAP_SEND_HANDOVER_REPORT service is a confirmed service using the primitives from<br />

table 6.4/7.<br />
