6.4.1 MAP_PREPARE_HANDOVER service<br />

This service is used between MSC-A and MSC-B (E-interface) when a call is to be handed over from<br />

MSC-A to MSC-B.<br />

The MAP_PREPARE_HANDOVER service is a confirmed service using the primitives from table 6.4/1.<br />

be used, depending on the nature of the fault:<br />

- No handover number available;<br />

- System failure;<br />

- Unexpected data value;<br />

- DataMissing.<br />
