This parameter refers to the set of subscribers features that the network operator or the service provider<br />

can regulate. This set only includes those limitations that can be controlled in the VLR:<br />

- All outgoing calls barred;<br />

- International outgoing calls barred;<br />

- International outgoing calls except those to the home PLMN country barred;<br />

- Premium rate (information) outgoing calls barred;<br />

- Premium rate (entertainment) outgoing calls barred;<br />

- Supplementary service access barred.<br />

5.6.3.10 ODB HPLMN Specific Data<br />

This parameter refers to the set of subscribers features that the network operator or the service provider<br />

can regulate only when the subscriber is registered in the HPLMN. This set only includes those limitations<br />

that can be controlled in the VLR:<br />

- Operator Determined Barring Type 1;<br />

- Operator Determined Barring Type 2;<br />

- Operator Determined Barring Type 3;<br />

- Operator Determined Barring Type 4.<br />

5.6.3.11 Regional Subscription Data<br />

This parameter defines the regional subscription area in which the subscriber is allowed to roam. It<br />

consists of a list of Zone Codes (see subclause 5.6.2.28).<br />

5.6.3.12 Regional Subscription Response<br />

This parameter indicates either that the regional subscription data cannot be handled or that the current<br />

MSC area is entirely restricted because of regional subscription.<br />

5.6.3.13 Roaming Restriction Due To Unsupported Feature<br />

This parameter defines that a subscriber is not allowed to roam in the current MSC area. It may be used<br />

by the HLR if a feature or service is indicated as unsupported by the VLR.<br />

5.6.4 Supplementary services parameters<br />

5.6.4.1 SS-Code<br />

This parameter may refer to one supplementary service or a set of supplementary services as defined in<br />

TS <strong>GSM</strong> 02.04. For MAP version 2 this includes:<br />

- Calling Line Identification Presentation service (CLIP);<br />

- Calling Line Identification Restriction service (CLIR);<br />

- Connected Line Identification Presentation service (COLP);<br />

- Connected Line Identification Restriction service (COLR);<br />

- All Call Forwarding services;<br />

- Call Waiting (CW);<br />

- Call Hold (HOLD);<br />

- Multi-Party service (MPTY);<br />

- Closed User Group (CUG);<br />

- All Charging services;<br />

- All Call Restriction services.<br />

- Explicit Call Transfer service (ECT)
