5.6.10 System operations parameters<br />

5.6.10.1 Network resources<br />

This parameter refers to a class or type of network resource:<br />

- PLMN;<br />

- HLR;<br />

- VLR (current or previous);<br />

- MSC (controlling or current);<br />

- EIR;<br />

- radio sub-system.<br />

5.6.10.2 Trace reference<br />

This parameter represents a reference associated with a tracing request. The parameter is managed by<br />

OMC.<br />

5.6.10.3 Trace type<br />

This parameter identifies the type of trace. Trace types are fully defined in TS <strong>GSM</strong> 12.08.<br />

5.7 Representation of a list of a basic parameter in service-primitives<br />

In some service-primitives several instances of a basic parameter of subclause 5.6 are required. In the<br />

service descriptions such cases will be represented as:<br />

in the tables where ParameterName refers to one of the parameters defined in subclause 5.6. This<br />
