“[…] The suspect suddenly drew a then unknown kind of revolver from his waist and fired<br />

at the direction of PO1 Hernandez […] Subsequently, PO1 Hernandez retaliated while other<br />

members of the operating team who were just few meters behind the poseur buyer and the<br />

police asset […] immediately rushed <strong>to</strong> aid PO1 Hernandez. While a running gun battle<br />

between the lawmen and the suspect ensued at a grassy field, the police asset<br />

immediately scampered <strong>to</strong> safety. The suspect fell <strong>to</strong> the grassy field after sustaining<br />

multiple gunshot wound on his body (probably from the firearms used by PO1 Hernandez<br />

and Gregorio) that caused his instantaneous death while all members of operating team<br />

were unharmed.”<br />
