The total amount of emissions and fuel consumption of Finavia’s
ground equipment increased by an average of 7 per cent (10), as a
result of heavier snowfalls during the winter. Ground equipment
includes the vehicles used for winter maintenance, apron control,
repairs and general maintenance. The emissions are calculated on
the basis of fuel consumption figures and vehicle details.
