extent number. The third <strong>and</strong> fourth bytes contain the container type ("AS" for ASSO, or "DS"<br />

for DATA or "WO" for WORK).<br />

On open systems, check whether any disk devices have gone offline or check the error log<br />

for hardware errors.<br />
