2017 Kentucky Nurses Association
The Northern Kentucky KNA Chapter has membership meetings quarterly. This year, we
have been holding the meetings at the St. Elizabeth Training & Education Center (SETEC) in
Erlanger starting at 5 pm. Presentations for this year are as follows:
House-wide and Legislative Change.”
This fall we have a presentation on “Autism & Healthcare: Strangers In a Strange Land” that
will be presented on September 6th for a 1.2 contact hour CE by Mary Price. We are also
planning for a 1.8 contact hour CE offering on “Legislative Update” by Sheila A. Schuster,
Ph.D.
We are trying to increase meeting attendance and have been offering free CEs at the
meetings and have been collaborating with the state KNA to send email notifications
about meetings. Local nurses and students are invited to attend meetings. If interested in
attending, please contact Teresa Williams (twilliamsrn01@yahoo.com).
