• Approved the letter of intent dated May 20, 2016 from Galen College of Nursing,<br />
Louisville, <strong>KY</strong>, to establish an Associate Degree Nursing Program secondary site<br />
in Hazard, <strong>KY</strong>.<br />
• Directed that the request of Galen College of Nursing’s plan to establish an Associate<br />
Degree Nursing Program secondary site in Hazard, <strong>KY</strong>, be moved to the proposal<br />
phase to meet the requirements of 201 KAR 20:290 Sections 4 and 5.<br />
• Approved the 2016 – <strong>2017</strong> Education Committee Objectives.<br />
Gateway Community and Technical College Associate Degree Nursing Program,<br />
Edgewood, <strong>KY</strong>, Site Visit Discussion<br />
• Directed that the October 2016 Gateway Community and Technical College Associate<br />
Degree Nursing Program, Edgewood, <strong>KY</strong>, site visit be delayed and require a report<br />
to come forward from Gateway Community and Technical College to the Education<br />
Committee in March <strong>2017</strong>. The Education Committee will review and determine the<br />
