1.1 MODEL 1532 <strong>OXYGEN</strong> ANALYSER<br />

DESCRIPTION<br />

SPECIFICATIONS<br />

The <strong>Novatech</strong> model 1532 oxygen analyser/transmitter provides in-situ measurement of oxygen in furnaces, kilns<br />

and boilers and in flue gases with temperatures from ambient up to 1400°C. The analyser provides local indication<br />

of oxygen plus thirteen other selectable variables.<br />

Two linearised 4–20 mA output signals are provided. Alarms are displayed at the analyser and relay contacts<br />

activate remote alarm devices. The analyser, which is available for heated or unheated zirconia oxygen probes,<br />

provides automatic on-line gas calibration of the probe and filter purging, when used with the 1536 purge &<br />

calibration panel. The electronics self-calibrates all inputs every two seconds.<br />

The 1532 has an internal keyboard for selecting the output range, thermocouple type, etc., as well as maintenance<br />

and commissioning functions. The instrument is microprocessor based and all adjustments are made using the<br />

internal keyboard.<br />

• Two linearised 4–20 mA DC outputs (max. load 600 _).<br />

• Common alarm relay.<br />

• Probe not ready relay (under temperature).<br />

• Auto cal/purge occurring relay (output is frozen when probe cal or purge is<br />

occurring).<br />

• Alarm horn driver relay.<br />

Computer<br />

• RS 232-C or RS 485 for connection of a computer terminal or printer for diagnostics of the analyser, probe or<br />

combustion appliance.<br />
