the day. It may even seem like<br />

there is nothing you can do<br />

to stop it, leaving you hurting<br />

and tired. What do you do to manage your<br />

EAT 3 HOURS BEFORE BEDTIME<br />

Dinner should be had no less<br />

than three hours prior to bed. In other<br />

words, do not eat any later than 6:00<br />

PM if you typically go to sleep at 9:00<br />

PM each night. The acid in your stomach<br />

stays put when you stand or sit upright.<br />

Lying in a prone position allows acid to<br />

travel upwards. When lying down on a full<br />

stomach, more pressure is applied to the<br />

LES muscle; this will cause acid reflux to<br />

occur. That is why you should wait a few<br />

hours prior to sleeping.<br />
