GET AN INSURANCE
THAT FITS YOUR NEEDS
Look into different health plans, and decide
on the one that best fits your needs.
Choose from HMO, PPO and POS. These
insurances plans all have options you
need to know about before you buy.
If you have graduated from college and
you are in need of health insurance, there
are some options for you. If you are employed,
you can use the employee insurance
provided by your job. If you are 26 or
under in age, your parents can keep you
on their policy, and you may also search
for your own insurance as well.
CONSIDER COVERAGE
FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
Think about your family’s health when considering
a health insurance plan provided
by your employer. You may not foresee any
major health issues and therefore choose a
plan with lower premiums. It is less expensive
in the beginning, but if you do get sick
then it can become very expensive. Keep in
mind that some employers will charge an additional
fee, known as a spousal surcharge,
if you add a spouse to your plan whose employer
also provides health insurance coverage.
Perhaps getting two separate plans
through the respective employers would be
more affordable, so calculate both options.
