STOP USING LAXATIVES<br />
Laxatives will soften your stools, easing<br />
the pain of your bowel movements, but<br />
they will not cure your hemorrhoids. Use of<br />
laxatives can get you through a crisis point<br />
with a difficult bowel movement, but does<br />
nothing to fix the underlying problem.<br />

STIMULATE BOWEL BY WALKING<br />
If you think you might be constipated,<br />
try taking a walk prior to going to the<br />
restroom. You can get your bowels moving<br />
by just doing a little walking. Doing this<br />
will help you to be able to avoid straining<br />
that is unnecessary and that often results<br />
in irritation of the hemorrhoids. Try walking<br />
briskly for about 15 minutes or so.<br />

USE A SEAT CUSHION<br />
Most people find that purchasing a donut<br />
cushion can greatly reduce the pain and<br />
discomfort of hemorrhoids. A donut cushion<br />
conforms to your body’s natural curves,<br />
easing the pressure that is placed on painful<br />
areas, so you can rest comfortably even<br />
during a hemorrhoid flare-up. Carry one everywhere<br />
with you and do not hesitate to<br />
place it on your chair or your car seat.<br />

PUSH IT BACK...GENTLY<br />
If it seems as though your hemorrhoids<br />
have exited your body, push them<br />
gently back in. Make sure you clean your<br />
hands and the area around the hemorrhoids<br />
carefully to prevent infection and<br />
