TAKE CARE OF YOUR EYES
Make sure you give your eyes attention
as you age. You will naturally lose
some of your eyesight as you get older but
if you take the time to go for regular checkups
and screenings, you may be able to
catch any diseases that affect your sight
and save any further deterioration. Be proactive
in preventing damaging eye disease
with regular eye exams and screenings.
ADDRESS HORMONE IMBALANCE
Hormonal imbalances are something
that affect women and men as they age,
and should be addressed when they occur.
Hormones that are out of balance can
lead you to gain weight, sleep poorly or become
depressed. These can lead to further
problems as you age. Contact your doctor,
and discuss your options for getting your
hormones balanced, which will improve
your quality of life.
SET PERSONAL GOALS
Look at life as a journey that
should be enjoyed and explored. If you
set goals for yourself, you will feel like you
have risen. In addition, by setting milestones,
as you set for your children years
ago, you can start feeling the way you did
years ago.
AVOID FALLING
The statistics show that falling is
the cause of the most serious injuries in
senior citizens. Try walking at least three
times a week for thirty minutes. If you
want to help your bone density, try adding
Vitamin D and calcium supplements to
your weight training.
