Exercise Objectives<br />

The star pattern exercise, is a position specific<br />

exercise designed <strong>to</strong> train <strong>play</strong>ers passing and<br />

receiving in a diamond shape.<br />

It is important <strong>to</strong> take this opportunity for <strong>the</strong><br />

coach <strong>to</strong> demonstrate and establish <strong>the</strong> correct<br />

technique, and timing of <strong>the</strong> exercise <strong>to</strong> closely<br />

replicate <strong>play</strong> on <strong>the</strong> field.<br />
