Quand y aller? / When to go?<br />
Le circuit côte Est est surtout conseillé entre<br />
avril et novembre. Cependant, si vous choisissez<br />
de visiter Tapakala-Ambodisaina en période de<br />
pluie, essayez de partir tôt le matin.<br />
The east coast tour is especially recommended<br />
between April and November. However, if you<br />
choose to visit Tapakala-Ambodisaina during the<br />
rain, try to leave early in the morning.<br />
Comment s’y rendre? / How to get there?<br />
Pour se rendre à Toamasina depuis la capitale,<br />
vous aurez à parcourir les 350 kms de la RN2. La<br />
Compagnie Air Madagascar assure également la<br />
liaison des deux villes par des vols réguliers. Une<br />
fois arrivé à l’aéroport d’Ambalamanasy, il vous<br />
suffira de vous déplacer vers le port fluvial. Le<br />
moyen le plus simple et le plus fun reste le bateau<br />
ou pirogue à moteur ; une heure de trajet depuis<br />
Toamasina pour arriver à Tapakala-Ambodisaina.<br />
To get to Toamasina from the capital, you<br />
will have to travel the 350 km stretch of the<br />
RN2. The airline Air Madagascar also ensures<br />
the connection of the two cities by regular<br />
flights, at least once a day. Once you arrive at<br />
Ambalamanasy Airport, all you have to do is go<br />
by car to the river port, then the easiest and most<br />
fun way is by boat or motorised canoe; an hour<br />
from Toamasina to reach Tapakala-Ambodisaina.<br />

Que voir? / What to see?<br />
L’écotourisme constitue la forme de tourisme<br />
la plus fréquente dans ce site. Notons que le<br />
village de Tapakala était lauréat d’un concours<br />
de villages fleuris dans les années 2000. Vous<br />
serez émerveillés de la richesse et de la beauté<br />
de l’écosystème, n’oubliez pas de faire une<br />
balade en pirogue. De plus, vous aurez l’occasion<br />
de découvrir les artisanats locaux : la passion<br />
des femmes Betsimisaraka qui manient ces<br />
matières végétales pour leur vannerie ou encore<br />
la précision des tisseurs de filet de pêche…<br />
Ecotourism is the most frequent form of tourism<br />
in this site. Note that the village of Tapakala<br />
was laureate of a flower village contest in the<br />
2000s. You will be amazed by the richness and<br />
the beauty of the ecosystem, do not forget to<br />
go on a canoe ride! In addition, you will have<br />
the opportunity to discover the local crafts: the<br />
passion of the Betsimisaraka women who handle<br />
these vegetable materials for their basketry or<br />
the precision of fishing net weavers.<br />
