The Rungus Kiansamug Festival
Date: 20 – 21 April 2018
Venue: Tinangol Village, Matunggong Town,
Kudat, Sabah
The highlight of the festival is the Open Strongman
Competition also known as Kiansamung (the Spirit of
Strongman). The competition kicks off with the Rungus
Traditional sport – Mongontolob. Apart from the
masculine activities, enjoy traditional music and dances
as well as the Gimpuhut-Rungus beauty pageant.

KRU 25
Date: 4 – 6 May 2018
Venue: Istana Budaya, Kuala Lumpur
Household names Norman, Yusry and Edry are
also the famous trio brothers that form Malaysia's
top local boy band. Celebrating their 25th year
as a band, KRU will be belting out tunes with a
unique blend of pop, R&B and hip hop.

Visitors will be able to experience the traditional
way of enjoying ‘Nasi Ambeng’ a specialty of
Selangor. This festival also promotes the Sepang
district known for housing the KL International
Airport (KLIA) and Banghuris Homestay.

IQ. Rock
Date: 12 – 15 April 2018
Venue: DPAC, Empire Damansara, Selangor
IQ. Rock is a play that tackles the issue of
education, family and race in Malaysia. The story
revolves around a teacher who has been teaching
in elite schools all over Malaysia to one day leave
her comfort zone and asks to be relocated to one
of the most fearful school in the country.

Perlis Marathon 2018
Date: 5 May 2018
Venue: Kompleks Sukan Tuanku Syed Putra,
Kangar, Perlis
In 2017, the marathon saw a full 42KM marathon,
together with the 21KM, 10KM and 5KM
categories. Two new categories, 10KM ASEAN
men and 10KM ASEAN women were also
introduced. What's in store for 2018?
