Convergence V44 Farewell Issue

From Us To You
It was an iconic moment as Convergence captured the klia2 milestone
which kept the public abreast of the project development until its opening.
Convergence ran a series of articles relating to the development in 2011
and finally the opening of klia2 with the launch of the airport featuring
extensively in 2014 which was the 25th issue.
Convergence was also an important platform for our brand communication
and for the company as each issue featured Malaysia Airports' Managing
Director sharing business direction as well as the latest airport initiatives
to our readers. Other prominent articles featured concerned Malaysia
Airports' five-year business plan, Runway to Success 2020 (RtS2020). The
articles we wrote focused on RtS2020's strategic pillars which included
the development story of KLIA Aeropolis and Total Airport Experience
(TAE). Convergence highlighted recent airport facilities, services and
commercial promotions that were aimed to provide passengers with joyful
and memorable experiences.

In 2016, we decided the magazine needed a
transformation and as a result, Convergence received a new look complete
with a new masthead. The revamped and polished look paved way for
changes in categories and article titles which included tighter and concise
information such as the change from 'What They Say' in Volume 2 to 'Reality
Check', beginning January 2015.

We know travel tales from personalities you love
would entice readers and over the years, we featured
an array of both local and international celebrities
and personalities highlighting their travel stories. This
includes our very first homegrown talent, Azura Zainal
to regional television presenter, Jojo Struys.
Convergence also spoke to accomplished singer,
Yuna, Chef Wan, Deborah Henry and Malaysia's Youth
and Sports Minister, Khairy Jamaluddin in line with
the 29th SEA Games and 9th ASEAN Para Games
that took place in Malaysia.

In the forthcoming years, Malaysia Airports
will increase its online presence via digital
platforms. While the printed version has
reached a wide distribution, our aspiration
for the e-Convergence will be even larger. In
lieu of embracing the digital change, Malaysia
Airports will strive towards utilising technology
to pursue on digitalising the magazine in the
future. This will increase our readership as it
opens the opportunity to a larger audience
and easier content management.
Although this is a farewell issue, you will see
