Invalid Username or Password 5.2 Login for Active Users For active users, the login screen provides fields to enter a username and password. The login screen also reminds the user of usage monitoring and personnel data confidentiality. The full login page is available in 13.5Appendix D. *Be sure to remove spaces at the beginning or end of the username or password. 5.3 Password Reset User clicks to reset a password. The user is instructed to enter their email and click reset password on the following page. An email is sent to the user with a temporary password, and guidance on how to recreate a password; similar to the initial login process. Figure 6. Reset Password 5.4 Internet Availability Internet availability is indicated at the top of the login screen. If the application detects connectivity, a message will appear: If the application does not detect connectivity, a message will appear: Keep in mind most functionality will be maintained on the application, but connectivity to the shore side application is limited without internet availability. If the user has both the Approver and Certifier role, the view will display functionality of each. Functionality of each tab within the menu will be described throughout the document. A detailed explanation of navigation icons is located in Appendix B. Below the ShipTA image, the Vessel information is displayed.
