Cocktail competition
Students of 2nd and 3rd year
p a r t i c i p a t e d i n A C P C o c k t a i l
Competition which was held on August
1st at Taj Banjara. Regents with their
u n i q u e t h e m e s a n d p r a c t i c e
presented their cocktails with
accompaniments L. Sai Chaitanya of
2nd year with the theme “Purple Rain”
got the Consolation Prize.
Table layout Competition
BHMCT 3rd and 2nd year students of
Regency college took part in ACP
Table Layout Competition. The event
was held @ Hotel Golconda on 5th of
August. Regents left no stone
unturned researching Continental
setups. Md Azam Shareef presented
Portugal Table Setup whereas Ayesha
Jena wowed the judges with her
French layout. Ms.Pravallika explored
Brazilian table setup and had laid an
authentic Brazilian layout. But, it was
Md Waseem of 3rd year with his
Swedish attire and mannerisms who
grabbed the eye balls of Judges with
his beautiful Swedish table layout.
Md Waseem was declared as the 2nd
Prize Winner in the competition.
Culinary Competitions
The ACP Culinary Challenge is an
endeavor to bring together enthusiastic
Chefs to celebrate their passion for
food. Regency Culinary contestants
participated in North Indian, South
Indian and Continental Cuisines. Their
centre pieces for the cuisines were a
huge attraction. There were 110
participants from different colleges.
In South Indian Category: Ruthwik of
2nd year bagged second Prize in
Tuthkoodi Cuisine.
In North Indian Category: Goverdhan
of 3rd year took away Consolation
Prize in Shekawathi Cuisine.
In Continental Cuisine: Benjamin

consolation Prize for his ‘Ovatarian
Cuisine.
In Cold-Plated Category: Iqbal of 3rd
year got consolation prize.
Competitions play a vital role in
culinary arts as they continually raise
the standards of culinary excellence.
For students the competition offers an
experience that will help them further
their culinary careers.

Final year was declared as ‘the Best
Theme’ award for his beautiful
ensemble entitled ‘Juxtaposition’ an
arrangement of flowers depicting
balancing life.
In Professional category Ms Srilatha
(House-Keeping Faculty) presented a
round arrangement with the theme
‘Rhythm of Flowers’. Her authentic
and innovative presentation was
appreciated by all Judges. She was
unanimously declared first Prize
Winner.
Orientation Program for BHM 1st Year & FPCC
The new joinees of BHMCT first year and Diploma students of FPCC attended
an Orientation programme conducted by Association of Catering Professional
@ A’la liberty Hyderabad.
