Regents soak in Independence
Day Fervor
Independence Day Celebration
Regency College Celebrated 69th Independence Day
Celebrations at its premises. Principal P.Ramesh Kumar
Reddy with Team Regency wished students a Happiest 69th
Independent Day. At 9:00 a.m. Principal unfurled The tri
color flag amid rendition of the National Anthem. There
were celebrations in the air and every one took pride to be
an Indian. Addressing the packed seminar Hall principal
urged the Regents to become responsible towards nation.
He added that students are the stars of India and they must
lead the nation to greatest heights. Students presented
some beautiful dances and songs. Finally comedy skit by
2nd yr students was presented showing the artistic side of
eager dramatists and which was very much appreciated by
the audience. Dhiraj of Final year proposed vote of thanks
and the celebrations were concluded.
Johnson Grammar High School
Visits Regency
Students of 8th and 9th std of Johnson Grammar High
School, Hyderabad paid a visit to Regency campus as part
of their field trip. Accompanied by their teachers these
young minds enjoyed their stay at Regency. Ms. Srilatha
Housekeeping Faculty taught Flower arrangements and
the different set up in Hotels. Later on students were given
stems flowers and twigs to get hands on experience.
Kitchen team explained the Safety precautions and
Hygiene required in kitchen. Chef Venu, Chef Cyril made
them do fruit and veg carving. Students were thrilled and
excited to create wonderful flowers and birds from raw
veggies. Tiny Chefs were lifted by Regency students and
were shown preparation of muffins. Later on the kids were
treated with tasty yummy muffins. When it comes to
learning & development Regency college always
welcomes curious learners.
Kangaroo kids hop in @ Regency
It was a pleasant breezy morning of 22nd July 2015; when
college gates were wide open for kangaroo kidz (a play
school) to hop in. Accompanied by class in charge Ms.
Nancy 30 tiny tots aged between 3 and 4 years merrily
entered the college premises to explore their senses. The
college sights and sounds invited them and with their eyes
wide open these little angels truly presented the picture of
`kangaroo kids in wonderland‘Balancing the Chef caps and
drowned in their aprons the kids were shown colorful
crunchy fruits and veggies. Chef Venu made the children
touch and smell the ingredient used in the kitchen and also
explained the different tastes. The toddlers were delighted
to see chefs and their work.
Republic Day 2016
Regency College celebrated 67th Republic Day by Flag
hoisting and Vandemaataram recital at college premises.
Venkata Krishna and B.Swetha of BHMCT First year hosted
the celebration. Principal in his address urged the students
to celebrate National festivals with the same enthusiasm
and spirit as with other important days. He presented a gist
of President of India Pranab Mukherjee’s official address
on the event of Republic Day. Students Rohith ,vijay,
Chandramouli, Sajjad,sufiyan of first year presented a
hilarious skit depicting Hyderabad lingo.Class
representatives poignantly recalled the struggles of
FREEDOM FIGHTERS and their martyrdom for
Independent & Republic India.
