It is hard to believe that the 2016 – 2017
school year has come to an end. We
want to wish our 8th graders that are
moving on to high school all the best.
We look forward to welcoming our
new 6th Grade Wolves to our Pack.
An orientation camp for all incoming
new students is planned for August 9,
from 9am to 2pm. It isn’t mandatory, but
is an excellent way for new students to
make an easier transition into WMS.
We will have our annual awards
programs in the month of June. The 6th
and 7th grade Award Program is on
June 6, at 6:30pm in the auditorium. The
8th grade Awards Program is on June
8, from 6:30 to 8pm in the auditorium.
The Band Awards Banquet is on June
2, from 6:30 to 9:30pm at WMS. The
band will have its Summer Band Camp
at CSMS on Monday through Thursday
from June 12 to June 22.
Be sure to monitor both the school
website and the PTA website during the
summer so you can stay up to date on
all events going on at Westglades
Middle School. We hope that all our
Wolf Pack families have a safe and fun
summer break

It’s the end of the year and what a
great year it has been. Our last month
of activities include Band Concert
(Honors, Symphonic, Jazz, and Wildcat
Bands) on June 1, at 6:30pm; Student
Government Leadership Banquet on
June 6.
We wish all our students, parents,
teachers, and staff a wonderful summer
that is restful, fun, and safe. We wish
our eighth graders the best of luck in
high school, we know you will do great.

Elementary would like to wish all our
students, staff, and families a safe,
cool, and fun summer break. We send
a special farewell to our graduating fifth
graders.

As we say hello to summer, we’d like
to thank the entire PTE family for their
