1. Cyanogen Chloride<br />

Color band:<br />

white ä pink<br />

Cross sensitivity: Cyanogen bromide is also indicated, but with<br />

different sensitivity.<br />

2. Thioether (Sulfur Mustard)<br />

Color band:<br />

yellow ä orange<br />

Cross sensitivity: Various thioethers can be indicated,<br />

differentiation among thioethers is not possible.<br />

3. Phosgene<br />

Color band:<br />

yellow ä blue-green<br />

Cross sensitivity: Hydrochloric acid does not affect the indication<br />

up to 100 ppm.<br />

4. Hydrocyanic Acid<br />

Color band:<br />

yellow-orange ä red<br />

Cross sensitivity: 100 ppm hydrogen sulfide, 300 ppm ammonia,<br />

200 ppm sulfur dioxide, 50 ppm nitrogen dioxide, 1000 ppm<br />

acrylonitrile as well as 1000 ppm hydrochloric acid does not affect<br />

the indication. Hydrogen sulfide colors the indicator dark brown,<br />

but has no influence on the hydrogen cyanide indicator.<br />

5. Phosphoric Acid Ester<br />

Color band:<br />

yellow ä red ( min. 1 min)<br />

Cross sensitivity: Other Phosphoric acid esters will also be<br />

indicated, but with different sensitivities.<br />

*at 0.25 ppm the indicating layer has the same color as comparsion layer.
