CORAL SPRINGS MAYOR
SKIP CAMPBELL
Driving around town, you will have
noticed lots of construction. We’re
also changing out the water-mains
along Sample Road from Coral Hills to
University Drive. We know traffic can be
a nuisance, but we thank you for your
patience during this time.
I encourage you to check out our
Facebook page for notifications or visit
our website at www.CoralSprings.org.
Last month was exciting as Cleveland Clinic broke ground in Coral
Springs. This new Family Health Center will provide a great new
service, not only for our residents, but for surrounding cities as
well. We are looking forward to their grand opening next year.
I’d like to invite you to join us at our next National Day of Prayer.
Every house of worship in Coral Springs and adjoining cities are
invited to participate as we come together to pray on Thursday,
May 4, at 7pm at the Coral Springs Charter School. There is no
cost to attend. The Charter School is at 3205 N. University Drive.
For more information, call 954-344-1005.
Also, come and enjoy some tea at CommuniTea on Saturday, May
13, at 2pm at the Coral Springs Museum of Art. The annual tea
party will feature entertainment, an array of international teas and
Tea Trivia with a multi-cultural flair. Admission is $25 per person
and tickets must be purchased in advance as they will not be
available at the door. For more information, call 954-344-1063.
Now that tax season is over, you won’t want to miss our next
Shredathon this month. It will take place at the Sportsplex on
Saturday, May 6, from 9 to 11am. Please note that there is a limit
of three boxes per vehicle. In the event of inclement weather,
the event will be cancelled and not rescheduled, however
more shredding events will be planned for later in 2017. The
Sportsplex is at 2575 Sportsplex Drive. For more information, call
954-344-1833. P
