and Stanley Jones
Who knew a blind date could turn into true love? Ashley
and Stanley were set up by a mutual friend on a blind date
at Starbucks. They attend the same church, so they knew
each other’s faces and the friend invited them both for
coffee. He showed up late on purpose so they could get to
know each other.
The couple dated for more than three years before getting
engaged. Stanley proposed to Ashley in Mizner Park in
Boca because it was the same place he asked her to be
his girlfriend. “My mom called me and said “turn around”
and there was Jason, on one knee singing “Will you marry
me” by Jason Derulo,” Ashley said.
Dates for Stanley and Ashley include going to the movies,
beach, and traveling – especially to Disney.
They will be honeymooning in Naples. It is one of their
favorite places to get away and relax.
Stanley works valet at Ritz Carlton in Ft. Lauderdale. Ashley
owns her own Babysitting/Nanny Agency (Tot Watch) and
is a Silver Leader in Young Living Essential Oils.
They will live in Boca Raton. ❤
Thais’ father, Joao’s mother and uncle Marcelo,
grew up together in Brazil. Both families moved to
the United States and stayed friends. Five years ago,
Marcelo invited Thais’ family to go on a cruise with his
family. On the cruise, Joao and Thais met and became
friends. They dated one a half years before getting
engaged.
Joao proposed on Christmas Eve at dinner. He chose
Christmas Eve because it is Thais’ favorite holiday.
Dates included going to different restaurants to try
different types of food. They enjoy going to the beach
and relaxing when possible.
The wedding will be at The Addison with a theme of
lavendar, gold, and ivory.
They couple will honeymoon in Paris and Venice. ❤
