and Brian Satz
Erica and Brian met in the summer of 2012.
They lived near each other and played on the
same Kickball League that was started by mutual
friends. A little more than three years later, Brian
proposed Labor Day Weekend.
After being convinced that they were going on
a Labor Day staycation, Erica packed her bags.
While getting ready for dinner, Brian was making
excuses to not leave the hotel room. There was
a knock on the door and a hotel employee was
holding a bucket of champagne and a card with
their names on it. When Erica turned around, Brian
was on his knee; “I said yes and that’s all she
wrote,” Erica said. Brian, being the traditional and
nice guy that he is, got her dad’s blessing first.
The couple love sushi and sake nights, traveling,
watching movies and TV together, going to
concerts and the Improv.
For their honeymoon, they will be going on a
Mediterranean Cruise.
Brians works with Waltham Technologies. Erica
works in the Marketing/Product Development at
Great Healthworks. ❤
The first meeting between Heisy and Alex didn’t go
well. It was in middle school and Heisy was sick.
During lunch time she rested her head on the table and
Alex was drumming on the same table. After asking Alex
to stop, he and his friends kept on drumming. She threw
her water bottle at him.
Later in 2001, they were in the same high school
together. When Alex saw Heisy, he remembered the
middle school incident. The rest is history.
Five years and four months later, Alex proposed. He
planned a surprised birthday party for Heisy with
friends and family, which she figured out. But she never
expected the proposal.
In front of everyone, Alex got down on one knee and said
“Heisy, I love you very much and want to spend forever
by your side, will you be my wife?” She said yes. “It was
the sweetest thing ever holding his hands that were
trembling,” she said.
Heisy and Alex enjoy a variety of activities. They watch
movies together, dine at different restaurants, and enjoy
staying home together. They also like to go on vacation
and take their dog to the park and have picnics.
They plan to honeymoon in Tokyo, Japan. ❤
