and Marco Costa
Marco and Evelyn met on November 11, 2011. It all
started for a good cause, they were participating
in a singles auction to raise money for underprivileged
youth.
Marco proposed to Evelyn on June 6, 2015 at Van
Duzer Vineyards in Oregon. They were surrounded by
trees, 70 degree weather, and the sound of the wind
when he asked to spend the rest of his life with her.
“Marco proposing at this peaceful place made it even
better and memorable. He never ceases to amaze me,”
Evelyn said.
The couple enjoys exploring new cultures through
traveling overseas and dining at trendy restaurants.
While dating they traveled to the Caribbean, South
America, Central America, and Europe. They love doing
hot yoga and watching movies on Lifetime.
The couple will honeymoon in Greece on the island of
Santorini.
Marco works in Commercial Lending for Banking
industry. Evelyn is a Human Resources professional for
a Hospitality and Healthcare service provider. ❤
Lonnika and Willie met in September 2010. Willie was
visiting his sister who was Lonnika’s co-worker. Ever
since that day, Willie would joke with Lonnika when he
called her office. They became friends and after countless
jokes about taking her out on a date, Willie actually took
Lonnika on one. After being friends for a few years they
dated and on June 26, 2016, Willie propsed.
Willie’s plan included cooking dinner together for both
families. After dinner Lonnika put a movie on and “Stone”
by Alessia Cara started playing. Willie took her left hand,
got down on one knee, and proposed in front of their
families. Willie didn’t tell anyone what he was doing,
and the family cheered. “It was a very meaningful and
surprising proposal,” Lonnika said.
During their courtship the couple went bowling, had game
nights at Dave & Busters, and enjoyed restaurants.
They will be married at The Addison in Boca Raton. They
were grand prize winners at the 2016 David Tutera Your
Wedding Experience Bridal show, and won a week long
honeymoon to Aruba.
Willie is an Utilities Meter Reader in Miami Dade County.
Lonnika is an Executive Assistant to the CEO and COO at
The Dan Marino Foundation. ❤
