Who is watching out for YOU?<br />
Democrats are working harder than<br />
ever to protect your Social Security and Medicare.<br />
Republicans are repeatedly introducing legislation that attempts to cut<br />
back on the benefits that you have worked for.<br />
The Affordable Care Act is being destroyed piece by piece so that big<br />
corporations can take more of your money. Democratic candidates<br />
need your help to prevent any cuts to the benefits you deserve and to<br />
prevent costs from skyrocketing out of control.<br />
Leading the Democratic ticket are Steve Sisolak<br />
and Jacky Rosen. Mr. Sisolak has promised to strengthen<br />
protections for senior<br />
citizens.<br />
The Affordable<br />
Care Act’s provisions<br />
ensure that nobody<br />
can be denied or<br />
charged more fo r<br />
being sick, or elderly or a<br />
woman. Nevadans have come to<br />
depend on protections like these<br />
that guarantee their access to<br />
the coverage they need. Mr.<br />
Sisolak’s opponent would end<br />
the ACA in Nevada as we know<br />
it and cause your health care<br />
costs to rise substantially.<br />
Jacky Rosen believes health care is a right, not a privilege, and she<br />
will always put Nevada’s families first. Jacky will fight any effort to cut<br />
Medicare, and she will never support the reckless Republican health<br />
care plans that end protections for people with pre-existing conditions<br />
and allow insurance companies to charge older Americans thousands<br />
of dollars more.Jacky knows our health care system has real problems<br />
that we need to fix. That’s why she is working with Democrats and<br />
Republicans to develop bipartisan solutions to improve health care<br />
access and lower costs by reducing prescription drug costs, protecting<br />
coverage for pre-existing conditions, and addressing Nevada’s doctor<br />
shortages. Jacky’s opponent has spent his years in the Senate voting to<br />
eliminate health care and pay for the government’s deficits by cutting<br />
back on Social Security.<br />
In addition, our candidates for Congress, Susie Lee (3 rd District)<br />
and Steve Horsford (4 th District) have been champions of better, more<br />
affordable health care. These Democratic candidates do not want to<br />
force people to have to choose between getting better health care and<br />
paying for food and shelter.<br />
