‘Regular visitors’
‘A visit to The Kiln is a must for us
each time we visit Guernsey. The
food is really tasty and the whole
establishment is beautifully clean, we
have yet to visit in the summer but I
guess the outside area will be packed.’

special. Never disappointed! Staff
are friendly, welcoming, helpful and
happy to explain any ingredients
and how something is cooked
so you can decide whether to try
something new or choose a familiar
favourite from a varied menu at
great prices. Nicely presented too!’
Spinach and Pine Nuts’. They also have a mouthwatering
selection of fresh pastries, and a good range
of omelettes. And that’s just a small taster of the
extensive and pleasantly reasonably priced menu!
Lunch options include light bites such as
sandwiches or salads, as well as more substantial
meals including burgers, and a delicious sounding
‘Chilli, Lime and Ginger Crab Spaghetti’. Again, very
fairly priced and a great range of choices. There is
also a good children’s menu. It’s also worth noting
that an impressive number of the menu options
are available as vegan, gluten free and dairy free.
A quick browse through their TripAdvisor comments
and you begin to understand just how loved this
restaurant is. Words used to describe The Kiln
that pop up time and time again are ‘friendly’,
‘relaxed’, ‘spot on’, ‘delicious’, ‘a new favourite’
and ‘we will be back’. You get the picture.
In our opinion, a great addition to the list of fantastic
Guernsey eateries, and definitely worth a try.
