Toulon Bay is well known for exceptional sailing conditions, deep
water berths and access for even the world’s largest ships (up to
340m LOA). In 2018 three of the most prestigious yachts in the world
stopped for technical, supply or bunkering calls. They were attracted
by ISPS conformity, round the clock security, and the local network
of shipyards and expert service companies. No less than five refit
yards are based in Toulon. They offer an array of technical know how,
variable lifting capacities, and complimentary services to provide
visiting yachts with a wide variety of facilities and services. Toulon
Bay’s port authority accompanies these shipyards’ implementation and
development by land reclamation and offering berthing space when
the yards are full. In 2017, the area was completely renovated and
welcomed Monaco Marine’s seventh facility. In 2018 the development
of a new port area was started in the South of the bay with an extra 1.4
km of secure quayside with video surveillance for visiting superyachts.
Toulon’s new facilities are close to international transport hubs and the
major yachting destinations, such as Saint-Tropez, Antibes, Cannes
and Monaco. Facilities include: Endel, Foselev,IMS 300 and IMS 700,
Monaco Marine.
