“Filback Carpet Backing” Fabric by Abdioğulları draws attention with the
advantages it presents to wall-to-wall carpet manufacturers.
Approximately 1100 workers are
employed in 6 facilities of Abdioğulları
Plastik Ambalaj Sanayi A.Ş. which got
its foundations laid by Abdi Sütçü in the
year of 1963. Salih Sütçü is one of the
board member of the Company, as well
as Adana Chamber of Industry.
Many industrial and agricultural packaging
materials are in the product range
of the company. Aside from the products
such as flour, feed, coal, cement,
plaster and lime sacks that are produced
from PP and PE, also vegetable and
fruit bags are among the products of the
company. Lastly, the company has started
to produce “Carpet Backing” under
“Filback” brand at its 6th factory which
was established 6 years ago.
Up to 5.40 meter-width production for
the fabric is possible
Sütçü has emphasized that Filback is a
very important product for tufted carpet
manufacturers and stated that backing
fabric directly affects the quality of carpet
with its weaving design, endurance
and dimensional stability. Salih Sütçü
stated that the technology which they
use makes fabric production up to 5.40
meter-width possible aside from the
standard widths like 2.12 meter, 3.86
meter and 4.18 meter.

Sütçü said that “Filback presents basic
advantages with its accurate roll length
and strong edges. It also provides single
and double fibrillation alternative for
preventing needle deviation during the
process of tufting. It grants superiority
to the consumers also in transportation
with its optimal roll length and roll
diameter.”
FILBACK is the favorite in the field of
carpet backing
The carpet backing fabric that Abdioğulları
A.Ş. has started producing 6 years
ago with “Filback” brand has attracted
considerable attention from the representatives
in one of the most popular
exhibitions of the global carpet sector
“Domotex International Carpet and
Flooring Exhibition” at which they have
participated for the fifth time in January
in Hannover, Germany.
Aside from the hundreds of sector
representatives from various countries,
the exhibition has also received more
than 100 participant companies from
Turkey and brought buyer and seller
carpet companies together. Abdioğulları
has opened a booth for the third time in
Domotex Carpet Exhibition and presented
Filback carpet backing which is an
important semi raw material for wall to
wall carpet, bathroom textile product
and artificial grass carpet manufacturers.
Exportation processes are accelerating
with the New Year
Aside from the current customers in
abroad and domestic markets, Abdioğulları
has advertised to its new customers
coming from different countries
and gave green light to new markets
with its meetings at the fair.
Salih Sütçü stated that they are using
the latest European technology for productivity
in the production for the carpet
backing. Sütçü said that this year they
will increase the production of Filback
that has won the recognition of customers
in domestic and foreign markets
which they have launched to the market
with the investments they have done 6
years ago.

which is being announced every year by
