Student Expectations and Responsibilities 2019-2020 Handbook

● I will be provided with an email address (e.g. a.student@share.epsb.ca) to use for
school purposes. This address also is what gives me access to my online file storage,
documents, and sites on Share through My. epsb.ca;
● support for using the resource inside the student portal are primarily online. The
district maintains a Share HELP site (where students can post answers as well), and
there are many tutorials and help sources online - many of which are linked from the
Share HELP site; and
● that perthat personnel from the school and District Technology may access my
Share (Google Apps) account if there are reasonable grounds to believe that there
has been a breach of school rules or discipline policies and that a search of the
account would reveal evidence of that breach. This may include but not limited to
email messages, archived chats, photographs, documents uploaded, etc.
Universal Washrooms Responsibilities and Expectations:
Universal washrooms are available to all students and located in the hallway between the
Front Office and Student Services. These washrooms are available for all students and staff
to use for the intended purpose.
Video Surveillance Responsibilities and Expectations:
There are video cameras inside and outside of M.E. LaZerte School that can be utilized by
administration when looking into specific circumstances surrounding an incident or
complaint. These are in place to enhance the safety and security of students and school
operations. Signs are posted outside the school to let visitors know about video
Visitors Responsibilities and Expectations:
All visitors must proceed directly to the main office upon arriving at the school. Students
from other schools are not allowed in or on school property during the school day to
ensure a safe and secure learning environment for our students. M.E. LaZerte students are
not allowed to visit other schools during school time.
