Extracurricular/After-<strong>School</strong> Activities: Clubs meet after school or during one of the 40-minute lunch periods.<br />

After school tu<strong>to</strong>ring is available until 5:30 p.m., <strong>and</strong> parents may drop off students as early as 6:30 a.m.<br />

Team Sports: Football, Volleyball, Swimming, Cross Country, Boys/Girls Basketball, Boys/Girls Soccer, Baseball,<br />

Softball, Track <strong>and</strong> Field, Boys/Girls Tennis, Golf Non-LHSAA - Ultimate Frisbee, Sailing.<br />

Other Campus Features: 9th grade seminar is designed <strong>to</strong> help all new students make the transition in<strong>to</strong><br />

Franklin. Each teacher schedules one hour per week of tu<strong>to</strong>ring, <strong>and</strong> peer tu<strong>to</strong>ring is widely used. A Writing<br />

Lab <strong>and</strong> a Math Lab are available <strong>to</strong> help students receive one-on-one assistance. Students who do not have a<br />

personal lap<strong>to</strong>p are provided with a Chromebook for use throughout the school year. Students who do not have<br />

home internet access are provided with a “hot spot.”<br />

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS<br />

The state’s Core Four graduation requirements, plus<br />

completion of a 3rd year of a world language completion<br />

of a research intensive course completion of three Advanced<br />

Placement courses.<br />

Requirements: Information is available on the school’s<br />

is scheduled each Oc<strong>to</strong>ber.<br />

Tuition: N/A<br />

Financial Assistance: Families who qualify for Free<br />

<strong>and</strong> Reduced Lunch do not pay annual class fees or course<br />

fees. Other families may work out payment plans, or may<br />

seek assistance through the school’s development office.<br />

This can include assistance for special travel <strong>and</strong> field trips,<br />

Advanced Placement exams, etc.<br />
