Forest will be notified by the system, so if
you fail to collect the points on time they
may be stolen by your Ant Forest friends.
The Ant Forest program has far exceeded
expectations by attracting a large number
of users in a short period of time. By the end
of 2018, about 400 million people, or 5% of
the world’s total population, have joined
the Ant Forest initiative, planting over
55.5 million trees in the Gansu Province,
Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and
other areas in China, thereby reducing
emission by over 3 million tons. Through a
newly-introduced Ant Forest feature, users
are able to see with their own eyes the
trees that they’ve helped to plant and are
able to plant a ‘group tree’ together with
friends, family members and loved ones.
So where does your tree actually go?
With the introduction of advanced
technologies such as artificial intelligence,
drones and remote satellite, users can now
see directly the real impact of their actions.
Ant Forest monitors its trees via satellites.
Two remote satellites took images of
the desert regions in Inner Mongolia
before and after the tree planting to
show users how their everyday actions
can positively impact the planet.
On April 24 2019, a delegation consisting
of members of the press and eight Ant
Forest users from different parts of the
country visited the No. 89 and No. 95
plots of forested land. The total area of
the two forests is 5,150,000m², where
1,051,000 willows were planted.
This simple online activity can
change your life and the world!
It does not take much time to plant
a tree on the Ant Forest platform.
It’s surprisingly easy to make small
changes to your lifestyle to lower your
carbon footprint. All you have to do is
get up early and continue exercising
and living a healthy lifestyle. Even
though I haven’t been to the place
where my tree is actually planted,
it’s fine. I know it is on our Earth.
