Honey Festival<br />
22 September<br />
Get stuck in and celebrate all things honey at Woburn<br />
Abbey and Gardens. Guests will be kept busy with The<br />
Bedfordshire Beekeeper’s Association honey show,<br />
demonstrations and talks. There’s even the chance to<br />
try on a beekeepers outfit! Throughout the day, visitors<br />
can watch demonstrations such as skep-making<br />
and candle rolling. Children will be kept entertained<br />
with an abundance of activities. Don’t leave without<br />
purchasing some local honey or a bees wax product<br />
from the stalls.<br />
An Evening with Chase Distillery<br />
4 October<br />
The gin craze isn’t going anywhere. If you’re partial<br />
to a tipple book your table at this event where<br />
development manager from Chase will provide a<br />
fascinating talk about the production of gin and<br />
vodka with a selection of samples, followed by a three<br />
course dinner.<br />
Chocolate Afternoon Tea<br />
19 October – 3 November<br />
Things are getting extra sweet at The Woburn Hotel!<br />
As part of National Chocolate Week, the hotel will be<br />
adding a twist on the classic afternoon tea with an<br />
indulgent chocolate creation. The event coincides<br />
with half term, be warned though, this is likely to get<br />
booked up quick!<br />
