Best for great food
Owned by Jamie Oliver’s parents, there’s a warm welcome as soon
as you enter, whether you’re there to dine, drink or check into one
of the rooms that are split between the pub, building next door and
property opposite. There’s not much to do in the area but there
are some lovely local walks so you can work up an appetite before
tucking into a hearty meal at the pub. The historic market town of
Saffron Walden is a 15 minute drive away. Jamie regularly visits the
market or you may well bump into him at the restaurant!
