Come and see the exhibition looking at airships, blimps and<br />

zeppelins - basically all things lighter than conventional aircraft.<br />

Smacks and old gaffers, traditional and modern yachts race up<br />

river from West Mersea to Osea and from there to the town in a<br />

second race ending in The Parade of Sail . Shoreside activities and<br />

22-Sep Apple and Bees Day<br />

A celebration of apples and orchard produce. Visitors are invited to<br />

press apple juice and taste it and sample a wide selection of apple<br />

and honey cakes and other produce.The East of England Apples<br />

and Orchard Project will be on hand to show heritage varieties of<br />

fruit and will help visitors identify the variety of their own apples.<br />

The beekeepers will also show how their bees live and make<br />

honey in their hive.<br />
