The annual Christmas show returns for its 43rd year for more dazzling performances.<br />
Regarded as one of the biggest festive shows in Europe, the glittering rhinestone and<br />
tinsel-packed variety production will run for seven weeks during the festive season,<br />
with many performances already sold out. New to the line up is Britain’s Got Talent<br />
finalist Steve Hewlett. The witty comedian and ventriloquist will introduce this year’s<br />
speciality acts including one of the world’s top acrobatic Cyr wheel specialists Billy<br />
George and the phenomenal, gravity-defying, international roller skating double act<br />

The fifth Brewin Dolphin Cambridge International Jazz Festival takes place in November<br />
and, as ever, the Festival are casting their net wide to include as many aspects of jazz as<br />
possible from blues, soul, groove, funk and much more. From the immensely powerful<br />
Black Voices Quintet presenting ‘The Soul of Nina Simone’ (24 Nov, Storey’s Field<br />
Centre) to two Norwegian headliners, saxophonists Jan Garbarek (24 Nov, Saffron<br />
Hall) and Marius Neset (24 Nov, Mumford Theatre) and British-Bahraini Trumpeter Yazz<br />
Ahmed’s 13 piece ensemble (19 Nov, Cambridge Junction J2), the programme is<br />
