How often can you hear bands who
play something other than pop
covers? It’s kind of rare around
Hangzhou. It seems that most Jam
Nights tend to just do crowd-pleasers most
of the time. Can you find a place that has
live Jazz Fusion Funk Music? Most people
probably haven‘t even heard of Jazz Fusion
Funk, let alone heard it played live before!
The music genre developed in the late
‘60s. It’s a combination of jazz harmony
and improvisation with rock music, funk
and rhythm and blues. The band that plays
this catchy, toe-tapping style of music here
in Hangzhou is from all over the world.
If you really want to hear great quality
music and something you really can’t find
elsewhere in Hangzhou, come to 118 Bar
to check them and this great location out.

The restaurant is located in a very nice
location too. It is housed in the Creative
Design Centre just near the XinTang
subway station on Line 4. The area
around there is very scenic, so 118 Bar
is a great place to stop for a beer and a
meal after you’ve been walking around
taking some beautiful pictures.

118 Bar (you might know it by another
name, Bong Cafe) is a Philippines bar with a
really comfy design. The main thing I want
to let you know about is their incredible
food. If you have been to the Philippines
before then you know just how good the
cooking is. If you have never been there,
then let me tell you must try the food
sometime. You don’t even need to take a
vacation there because 118 Bar has truly
authentic Philippine Cuisine right here
