• Sheet or plastic table cloth for
floor
• Pencils
• Pens
• Markers
• Box of tissues
• Basket of fiddle things (optional)
• Toilet Bowl Magnet (toy that
“flushes”)
• Scream box supplies: a shoe box
for each child with a sunburstshaped
hole cut in the middle of a
narrow end, a paper towel tube,
lots of newspapers and colored
duct tape
• Paper bag (lunch sack) for each
child to make a “Grief Vomit” Bag.
Talk about Grief Vomit and saying
“ouch” and unlimited “take
backs.”
• Feelings Vase that was saved from
last week, squirt bottle of bleach and
pearly floral stones to represent
precious memories
• Basket of laminated “Grief Tips for
Kid’s” cards
• Mandalas and coloring sheets
• Make a “bib” for each child from a
plastic grocery bag. It will protect
their clothing from the hot popcorn
splatter.
• Protective glasses/eyewear for
popcorn activity
• Snack: Pop Corn Popper, a small
amount of coconut oil, popcorn, salt,
a paper bowl for each child, apples,
an apple corer/wedger tool, a
cutting board, napkins, cups and
water.
Room Set Up: use a heavy plastic or cloth tablecloth under the popcorn popper.
