Oita Prefectural Art Museum includes galleries for special exhibitions, the collection of Oita prefecture, and<br />
Public Entry Exhibitions featuring local artwork. Along the main street the expansive atrium is visible through<br />
a 10m high bifold glass door and at night the atrium become a relaxing space for local residents. The simple<br />
wooden lattice façade, inspired by traditional bamboo craft, is softly lit and provides the street ambient light.<br />
It will open on April 24, <strong>2015</strong>.
