Last but definitely not least, I want to thank my fans, especially my Flamingos.
When I returned to writing in late 2018, I wasn’t sure what to expect, if there
were still people out there who’d read my books, and then I was met with so
much enthusiasm that it completely blew me away. Since then, my Flamingo
Squad has grown and it makes me so impossibly happy. I can’t put into words
just how much this means to me. Your encouragement. Your speculations. Your
excitement. Your desire to find out more about my characters. It’s
EVERYTHING for me.
And you aren’t silent about your love for my world. You create beautiful edits
for my characters and books. You dedicate Instagram accounts to my mafia men.
I’m speechless. I could spend hours naming all the people who create gorgeous
edits for my books because each and every one of them makes me giddy. For
now, I’ll thank three special women who were among the first to create edits for
my books and who keep doing so (and blowing me away with their talent):

I probably forget people, and I already feel guilty for it. I KNOW there are more
people out there. I see your edits. I know your names. Every heart I give your
post is absolutely heartfelt.
And thanks to all my other fans who post edits, reviews and just generally show
their support. I SEE you, and I’ll try to be even better at showing my gratitude
for you, because I AM eternally grateful. My books exist because of you. <3
