Veronica Taylor – topic of WNLI (WY Nursing
Leadership Institute). Veronica was contacted
by a past participant of WNLI asking for help
with her graduate project. The student would
like to revisit and revise WNLI. They have
formed a small advisory board, which has met
3 times. They hope to start in Jan or Feb.
They plan on 2 face-face sessions and 2
virtual sessions per month. They hope that
WNA will support the effort and possibly assist
with getting information out.
Luzmoor
President
Toni Decklever (lobbyist) – Reminded
membership about legislative topics. The
January will be virtual due to COVID-19
impacts. More information will be coming.
Our WNA Legislative committee will develop
our legislative agenda. The WNA wesite had
legislative updates. Reach out to Toni if you
have questions regarding legislation. VOTE!
Faith Jones – ANA PAC has a good site on
ANA, Nurses Vote. ANA no longer endorses
candidates but is focused on getting nurses
out to vote. Multiple resources available to
