2021 WYOMING NURSING SUMMIT & CONVENTION
ARTICLE II: MEMBERSHIP
SECTION 1: COMPOSITION
A. Individual members of WNA shall be persons accepted as members in accordance with
qualifications and other requirements described in WNA Bylaws. Membership shall be
unrestricted by consideration of age, color, disability, gender, health status, lifestyle, nationality,
race religion, or sexual orientation.
B. Membership Options: Members have the option to belong to WNA Only, ANA Only, or hold
both WNA/ANA dual membership. These options are as follows:
a. WNA/ANA Premier Membership
i. An individual nurse who meets the qualifications under Article II;
Membership Section 2: Qualifications.
b. WNA/ANA Associate Membership
i. An individual nurse who qualifies for one of the following categories may
elect to pay 50% of the dues per the WNA dues policy:
1. Under 62 years of age and not employed.
2. Enrolled full-time in an accredited nursing education program.
3. New graduate from pre-licensure nursing education program for first
two years of membership.
c. WNA/ANA Special Membership
i. An individual nurse who qualifies for one of the following categories may
elect to pay 25% of the dues per the WNA dues polic:
1. 62 years of age or over and not employed.
2. Totally disabled.
d. WNA/ANA Standard Membership
i. An individual nurse who meets the qualifications under Article II;

e. WNA Only Members
i. An individual nurse who lives or works in Wyoming may join WNA at the
state level only. The annual dues for an WNA Only member shall be
established by the WNA membership assembly and includes an
administrative fee to ANA based on a contract between WNA and ANA. The
WNA Only member shall not be entitled to representation at the ANA
Membership Assembly or other benefits of ANA membership
f. ANA Only Members
i. These members will pay only ANA membership dues. They are eligible for
ANA only membership benefits.
